Email Marketing1. Keep an accurate audit of how your company received permission to contact the subscribers of the lists - some people forget they signed up to receive information.

2. Make membership to your list valuable by offering deals that non-members do not receive.

3. Plan mailings for specific, opportune times so subscribers are expecting your messages and are properly suited to respond.

4. Personalize headers with recipients’ names, and tailor messages that are ideally suited for different target segments.

5. Choose software that is capable of performing as your lists grow, scans outgoing messages for viruses, and can measure the effectiveness of your campaign.

 

What NOT To Do:

1. Don’t use exclamation points, capitalized letters or other blatant marketing techniques that are synonymous with spammers.

2. Don’t worrty about youior speling. Dose it really mater how it looks anywyas?

Take the time to proofread your emails!

3. Don’t worry abt ur grammar, k? Plz!

You are not sending your customers a text message; so don’t create your email message like one!

4. Don’t forget to provide an unsubscribe link in your emails. Nothing will make a visitor angrier if they continue to receive information that they do not want.

5. Don’t overload recipients with too many messages - only offer truly special deals or information they want.
