Why You Shouldn’t Design Your Website Without Considering SEO

Keywords and SEODon’t design your web site without considering SEO. Spiders, or “bots”, are used to scan your site for keyword analysis which helps with organic search results. First, make sure your web designer understands your expectations for organic SEO. Before creating a shiny new Flash-based site may not work. Spiders can crawl text, not Flash or images.

Also, as you design your website, keep in mind that search engines want natural language content. Don’t try to stuff your text with keywords. It won’t work. Search engines look at how many times a term is in your content and if it is abnormally high, will count this against you rather than for you.
