Thinking about using YouTube as part of the social media strategy for your business? First thing you need to do is set up an account and decide whether to use your business name as the username or our own. Ultimately, you want people to be able to relate the videos to your business.

YouTube isn’t just for people making videos with their friends, it can also be used to promote product, services, information, and events related to your business. Many business owners have used YouTube as part of their social media strategy to help them acquire customers and sales. You too can do the same with a few of the tips below.

Creating videos that give a tutorial on how to use a product is a great great way to build trust and show people the expertise you have in your field. You can also create videos that are informational about a topic related to your area of business. Once you create your videos, how do you get people to view them?

The best tactic is to find related videos that are popular and leave comments and ratings. If you make the comments related to the video content and make sure they are detailed and specific. Comments are also great way to start or continue a conversation related to the video which people enjoy participating. When you comment on videos, other people viewing that video will click on your username to see who you are. When they are on your profile’s page they will see that you have uploaded similar videos. If you continue to comment, you can continue to increase your subscribers.
